10 Long Years since my first ebook
I’ll bet many of you had no idea there were ebooks before the Kindle or Nook. (E-texts have been around as long as computers. But in the late 90s, the first ebook revolution happened. I always laugh when the young whippersnappers who think ebooks were invented with the Kindle call themselves the ebook revolution.)

Special Edition Fun Wrapper

But the truth is, eleven years ago I published my first hardcover. (Which shall forever remain an embarrassment
to me as much as it was a milestone.)
A year later, I published my first ebook. It was simply titled “Journey to Nyorfias, Book 1″ and I was using my pen name, Terran Moffat.
Recently, JTN1 (its shorthand designation) was retitled CONVERGENCE, Journey to Nyorfias Book 1, and I republished it under my name. Last week I created a special edition. I was feeling rather wicked, so I borrowed the look and feel of a popular thriller novel and gave Convergence a fun title: The Girl With Another Girl In Her Head. Inside that wrapper I added some maps from the original ebook (it was a PDF and had illustrations), a deleted scene (short story length, never published),a Glossary, and several illustrated-by-me chapters of a prequel story that appeared here on this blog for a very short time.
If any of you who read this blog made a verified purchase (or got a verified giveaway) of an ebook version of JTN1, send me an email terzap (at) gmail (dot) com. I’ll email you a Kindle or EPUB of the special edition.
It’s available for purchase at Kobo, BN, and Amazon.

The special edition is fabulous! Love the illustrations, maps, deleted scene and short story–they add extra dimension to what was already a great story.
